The CWC’s mission is to go beyond the walls of our offices and reach out to the campus community to promote psychological and interpersonal wellness on campus. Thus, the CWC develops and offers a variety of Outreach activities to aid UF in developing a healthy environment supportive of individual students’ wellness and academic success. The Outreach student assistant is responsible for assisting with the Outreach and Consultation activities of the Counseling & Wellness Center.
The Outreach Student Assistant is responsible for supporting the mission, goals, and objectives of CWC’s Outreach & Consultation program.
The Outreach student assistant is responsible for:
• ·Assisting CWC Outreach circle with duties including, but not limited to, filing outreach requests, organization and upkeep of outreach materials, facilitation of focus groups and/or other data collection from stakeholders regarding outreach services, and distributing print and promotional materials within CWC and across campus.
• Reaching out to staff to connect them with CWC outreach requests.
• Assisting Outreach Coordinator in monitoring outreach requests and coordination.
• Packaging outreach supplies for tabling, presentations, and other CWC events.
• Disseminating outreach supplies among CWC team members.
• Providing support for Outreach-related events and tabling.
• Maintaining Outreach material/supply inventory.
• Printing materials.
• Developing Qualtrics surveys and feedback reports.
• Perform clerical duties including data entry, copying, faxing, receiving/distributing mail and other materials, running errands, keeping office area clean, maintaining calendars, and responding to inquiries from staff.
• Assist in one of the other areas within the UF CWC Outreach Circle with duties including but not limited to research or program data entry and providing customer service to stakeholders in non-clinical matters.
• Other similar duties as directed by supervisor.
