STU AST CLERICAL & ADMIN

The Student Assistant within Off Campus Life is responsible for:

• Developing and implementing educational programming on resources available within the surrounding Gainesville community and those living off campus  
• Compiling assessment data utilizing information to generate reports for decision-making 
• Assisting with daily operation of Off Campus Life including answering incoming phone calls, emails, walk-in appointments, and maintaining appropriate filing 
• Resolving customer or resident questions and provide the proper resources 
• Assisting with social media planning, messaging, and management for events and programs  
• Attending Off Campus Life events and programs to generate social media content for current and future events 
• Creating a welcoming environment for all students, families, and visitors through positive interactions and engagement 

$13.00 per hour

• This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week.

• Demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, dependability, and timeliness 
• Knowledge of social media platforms  
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
• This position may require availability for shift times on evenings and weekends
