Support the mission of the Division and the Student Engagement team by creating innovative and engaging programs that promote students finding and building community. Responsible for developing and implementing programs, activities, and services that promote experiential learning, competency development, community engagement, co-curricular learning and encourage students to engage with varying perspectives. Through this work, this position works to build an appreciation with our students of the importance of lifelong exploration and discovery.
Responsible for advising student organizations, working with students to make meaningful connections with UF alumni, and mentoring students and student leaders. This position will serve as a liaison for students to build a bridge with the UF Alumni Association. Additionally, this position will serve as a point of contact and provide guidance for student organizations as assigned. The position will provide support related to student organization registration, programming, event management, and operations.
Assist with administrative functions within student engagement. Assist with budget planning and reporting, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure proper procedures, controls and financial guidelines for all areas including organization expenditures. May assist with the coordination of administrative programs for the Office of Community & Belonging such as catering scholarships, officer eligibility, space allocations, and other administrative programs. Coordinate assessments of programs and initiatives, including but not limited to benchmarking, tracking experiential learning metrics, student leader orientations and onboarding, recurring training, and regular communication. Report appropriate information as required by Clery Act and Title IX. Assist with marketing and promotions strategy for educating students and encouraging co-curricular involvement. Coordinate with other departments and areas across campus as needed, including but not limited to Event Services, University Policy Department, the Dean of Students Office, Counseling and Wellness Center, and other campus venue managers.
Contributes to the Division and University through active participation on committees and division-wide initiatives (example opportunities: emergency dean on call, move-in, conduct committee, student welcome events, etc); and, other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications: |
EDUCATION & TRAINING: Master’s degree in Student Personnel or related field
EXPERIENCE - Experience facilitating programs, working with student organizations, and advising students.
