Key Responsibilities:

1. Hardware and Software Support:
• Provide assistance with both PC and Mac systems.
• Assist in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot peripherals such as printers, scanners, webcams, microphones, speakers, and monitors.
2. Conference Room Setup and Maintenance:
• Assist in setting up and maintaining multiple conference rooms, ensuring proper functionality of AV equipment and technology.
• Diagnose and resolve any technical issues in these spaces.
3. Specialized Software Support:
• Knowledge or specialized software including CAD, ERDAS Imagine, ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Suite, and MATLAB a plus.
• Assist in resolving compatibility issues with operating systems, hardware, and network configurations as needed.
4. Network and System Support:
• Assist with network issues, operating system problems, and hardware compatibility challenges.
• Assist in managing active directory groups to ensure appropriate access to shared network resources, departmental printers, and remote desktop services.

Assist in creating and managing service accounts for shared email inboxes and ensure timely removal of access for departing personnel

High School Diploma/GED
• Comfortable using computer systems and learning new programs
• Attention to detail
• Must possess good communication skills

• Experience with specialized software used in the field of Forestry, Fisheries, and Geomatic Sciences is highly desirable.
