Job Description:

Join the Office of Medical Education at the UF College of Medicine and help shape the future of medical training! As the 3rd & 4th Year Coordinator, you will manage projects within the third- and fourth-year MD curriculum, while providing key program and administrative support. If you’re detail-oriented and passionate about education, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities include:

Program Management

  • Oversee and maintain 3rd- and 4th-year rotation schedules, ensuring compliance with graduation requirements.
  • Process student applications and schedule changes.
  • Serve as the EPIC liaison for medical students.
  • Track off-cycle and MD-PhD schedules, communicating key updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate student assessments with testing centers.
  • Schedule and document clerkship debriefings.

Administrative Support

  • Evaluate and enhance program policies to improve student experiences.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for program management.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and train clerkship administrators.
  • Update course catalogs and generate reports for stakeholders.
  • Organize 3rd- and 4th-year orientations and support the Phase 3 Director.

Grades & Evaluations 

  • Create and distribute clerkship evaluations, assisting administrators as needed.
  • Track and submit grades within deadlines.
  • Support 4th-year course management in Canvas alongside Student Affairs.

Expected Salary:

$46,000 - $50,000; commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Foundational experience with educational programs
• Sound judgement and decision-making
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Communicates effectively, professionally and timely with internal and external stakeholders
• Adheres to HIPAA and FERPA regulations
• Strong interpersonal skills
