As a Laboratory Courier I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely transportation of laboratory specimens, supplies, and other materials between various locations on campus and across our network of affiliated healthcare facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Collection and secure transportation of specimens, ensuring proper handling and chain of custody.
2. Maintaining accurate records and documentation for each specimen or material transported.
3. Adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations governing the handling and transportation of biological materials.
4. Providing exceptional customer service to medical professionals, patients, and colleagues.
5. Collaborating with laboratory staff and healthcare teams to ensure seamless operations.
To excel in this role, you must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads. Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential, as well as a strong commitment to confidentiality and attention to detail.
