Job Description:

The responsibilities associated with this position will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the strategic planning for the Industry Engagement area and center-wide industry engagement.
  • Provide direct supervision for a team of 4-5 full-time staff members focused on industry initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and direction to staff involved in department services and programs conducting outreach and recruitment services to new, inactive, and active employers for the purposes of advancing recruitment at the University of Florida.
  • Manage a vision and create goals for employer-focused programming, the employer experience, and recruitment services initiatives.
  • Responsible for leading and implementing the Center’s strategic plan for industry engagement, recruitment services, employer education, and employer branding.
  • Work collaboratively with all aspects of the Center to ensure proper implementation of industry engagement initiatives including recruitment services, industry communication, and the employer experience.  
  • Assist in analyzing the effectiveness of and establishing future direction for recruitment policies and programs.
  • Ensure all programs and activities comply with university, state, and federal regulations.
  • Establish performance goals and measures to evaluate the success of employer outreach and participation in recruitment services.
  • Foster relationships with internal and external constituents increase industry engagement and employer connections for UF candidates.
  • Initiate meetings, deliver presentations, strategize, and implement collaborative recruitment services, programming, and structures.
  • Serve as a Recruitment Coach to a portfolio of advanced employer accounts.
  • Oversee day to day recruitment services operations, including supervision of the Industry Engagement team.
  • Oversee data collection, analysis of data, and reporting related to campus-wide recruitment activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment and career services via benchmarking, professional associations, labor data, and stakeholder engagement to inform strategic planning efforts and education to Center staff and stakeholders.
  • Participate in the development of budget requests and maintain a budget pertinent to assigned programs.

Expected Salary:

$75,000 - $80,000

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and six years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

EDUCATION & TRAINING:

Master’s degree in marketing, social sciences, student personnel, or human resources (HR)

EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years of experience (minimum) in stakeholder engagement, marketing, sales, career development, consulting, recruitment, or human resources

KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of industry relations, employment trends, student development, career services, marketing, and outreach strategies
