The Office of the University Registrar is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Registrar Services Coordinator I to join our team. In this role, you will provide registrar services support, manage complex inquiries, and assist with administrative tasks. As the primary point of contact for the registrar's office, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ensuring seamless resolution of complex issues and providing guidance on registrar-related processes.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Registrar Services Support
- Provide guidance on navigating registrar-related processes, such as registration, transcripts, or degree verification.
- Evaluate and respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of the university's academic programs, systems, and policies.
- Coordinates Gator 360 case management.
- Communicate complex rules, regulations, and procedures with confidence and clarity.
- Cross-train to ensure familiarity with key records, registration, scheduling, and degree certification processes.
- Assist with transcript request, curriculum, and event scheduling processes.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in the student record system.
Administrative Support
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate events or office activities logistics.
- Prepare agendas, minutes, and presentations for internal and external meetings.
- Gather and organize data for special reports or presentations.
- Handle correspondence, including drafting emails, letters, and memos.
- Create and maintain all registrar forms published for clientele.
- Coordinate regular evaluation and maintenance of registrar web pages.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining project documentation and timelines
- Coordinate travel arrangements for team members attending conferences or off-campus events.
Other duties
- Support event planning, such as workshops, training sessions, and office-wide activities.
- Track expenses and ensure proper documentation for reimbursement.
- Support initiatives like process improvement projects, office-wide campaigns, or new software implementations
- Assist with office hiring processes for OPS and student employees assigned to the area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This position is located at the University of Florida's main campus in Gainesville, FL and may be eligible for a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in accordance with the University of Florida and Division of Enrollment Management's policies.

Expected Salary: |
$43,888 annually

- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, Gator360, and other student records systems is also preferred.
