Job Description: |
Research Coordination Supports sponsored and internal research and projects independently including "research and development," and analyzes research activities. Collects and synthesizes data from research participants and enters information into the designated tools/forms/databases to comply with project protocols.
Participates in internal/external research-related conferences and investigator meetings to build and maintain relationships.
Tracks the progress of research efforts to ensure project schedules are followed in a timely manner; Works with researchers to generate proposal, cost, and effort information and prepares and follows the project's spending plan; Handles budgets and resources, and communication within departments ensuring smooth functionality of projects; Acts as a liaison for research sponsors and participants which includes compliance with federal, state, and sponsor policies; Assists with study finances, including sponsor invoicing and associated expenditures; Completes case report forms (paper & electronic data capture) and addresses queries.
Administrative Tasks Arranges and coordinates teleconferences and recording of meeting minutes for research-related meetings; Coordinates internal and external meetings, program kick off’s including slide decks and agendas for meetings within the research program(s); Prepares and collects data to provide progress reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually); Schedules agendas and itineraries for visitors to FLARE and coordinates other events as required.

Expected Salary: |
$45,000-$50,000; commensurate with qualifications and experience

Minimum Requirements: |
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
|
Preferred Qualifications: |
Education: master’s in science with related experience in working with data.
Training: proficient with all MS Office tools, especially Excel and Project.
Experience: Skilled and knowledgeable working in both office and laboratory settings and performing tasks including arranging meetings, coordinating schedules, collecting and analyzing project data and reports, producing DFARS compliant reporting products, spend plans, project plan updates, earned value, risk management framework updates, etc. Must be able to communicate effectively with team of researchers and engineers for managing project activities, including budgetary, milestones, demonstrations, and communications.
Must be highly motivated, extremely organized, capable of multitasking, have excellent communication skills, and manage time appropriately.
