Job Description: |
This position manages the Return of Title IV (R2T4) funds process. Responsibilities include performing complex calculations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and meeting multiple deadlines. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
Return of Title IV Coordination
- Coordinate the Return of Title IV (R2T4) process with various university departments to ensure timely and accurate handling of student withdrawals and federal fund returns.
- Monitor official and unofficial student withdrawals and unsatisfactory grades each term to recalculate financial aid eligibility and manage the return of federal and state funds as needed.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on federal withdrawal regulations, providing guidance, training staff, and ensuring university policies remain compliant.
Compliance and Auditing
- Evaluate federal, state, and institutional requirements to align withdrawal and financial aid processes with compliance standards.
- Recommend policy and practice changes to address compliance needs and improve operations.
- Supports with auditing finances and managing specific financial aid programs.
- Alert senior administrators to potential compliance issues and recommend solutions.
Additional Duties
- Lead or assist with special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
- Travel occasionally for financial aid presentations and professional development workshops.
This position is located at the University of Florida's main campus in Gainesville, FL and may be eligible for a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in accordance with the University of Florida and Division of Enrollment Management's policies.

Expected Salary: |
$47,500 annually

Minimum Requirements: |
Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications: |
- Student financial aid experience.
- Knowledge of rules and regulations governing financial aid programs.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
