Job Description:

Employer Relations Account Management: Create and implement effective communication strategies to engage employers and alumni across diverse sectors to expand recruitment opportunities for students. Develop targeted outreach strategies, including email campaigns and digital communications, to educate potential employers about recruiting resources and career events. Manage relationships with employer partners, ensuring their campus recruiting programs meet expectations and align with student needs. Actively meet with campus recruiters and hiring managers to tailor their recruiting strategies and programs to enhance student engagement and their desired recruitment outcomes (ROI). Act as the primary point of contact for employers, addressing their inquiries and providing timely support for recruitment events and initiatives. Respond in a timely fashion to inquiries from new employers interested in recruiting at Warrington, providing detailed information about services, resources, and student talent. Seek employer feedback and conduct survey data collection and analysis for continuous improvement. Organize visits to campus for employers who currently recruit or are considering recruiting from Warrington. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends and recruitment needs to effectively communicate the value of engaging with Warrington students. Maintain accurate records of employer interactions utilizing BCS database - HIREWarrington. Plan, organize, and execute recruitment events, including information sessions, coffee chats, workshops, networking sessions, etc.

Employer Event Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with Career Events Manager to assist in coordinating employer marketing for major events, employer logistics, employer timelines, and ensuring an exceptional career events experience for several major career events. This includes management of the employer event registration processes consisting of information and data collection, tracking employer attendance, and providing timely communication to employers regarding event details and logistics. Conduct outreach to employers for Business Career Services events including but not limited to Warrington Career Symposium, Warrington Career Expo, and BCS Career BBQ. Conduct outreach to employers for classroom presentations and presentations to student organizations.

Marketing and Collaboration: Represent the college at recruitment events, professional associations, alumni chapters, conferences, etc. to network with employers with the goal of increasing the quantity and quality of employers who recruit talent from the Warrington College of Business. Act as a liaison to Warrington student organizations by providing support for employer related requests. Actively participate in Business College Council retreats, providing comprehensive employer related support to all student organizations within the Warrington College of Business. Keep students informed of career-related activities, job opportunities, and industry events through robust communication strategies including weekly newsletters.

Team Leadership: Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations of the Employer Relations unit, including hiring, training, and supervising student employees. Provide guidance and direction to student staff involved in department services and programs. Manage student staff work schedules for hosting employer events and ensuring adequate front desk coverage.

Special projects as assigned.

 

Expected Salary:

$55,000 - $63,500, commensurate with experience. 

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and five years of relevant experience.

  • Ability to work under pressure, with the flexibility to respond to changing priorities and fluctuating workloads.
  • Highly proficient with web-based resources, spreadsheet and presentation software required) MS Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel).
  • Strong understanding of business degree career paths and management level career issues along with in-depth understanding of the college recruiting employment market and corporate hiring practices/process
  • Strong organizational work skills, defining tasks, prioritizing assignments, and following through on all projects independently.
  • Evidence of being relationship-driven with the proven ability to establish rapport with recruiters, faculty/staff, and students.
  • Track record of successfully collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours with occasional travel required.
  • Ability to travel with overnight stays on occasion (25%).
