Job Duties: |
- Updating the department website
- Creating graphics for the department’s social media channels, video boards and website
- Photography and videography of department events
- Monitoring news sources for mentions of department faculty and students

Expected Salary: |
$15/hour

Minimum Requirements: |
This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and have a valid Federal Work-Study (FWS) permit. Students must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week. Must have a Federal Work Study work award for Fall 2024 semester.

- Demonstrated interest in the communications field and scientific research
- Experience with (or the desire to learn): website maintenance using a content management system (CMS)
- Basic graphic design experience
- Videography and video editing experience
- Photography and photo editing experience (may require local travel in state vehicle)
- Confident with verbal and written communication
- Possess strong organization skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Valid Driver’s license
