The Opportunity
Reporting to the Associate Director of Operations, the Marketing and Comm Spec III (Marketing Manager) is responsible for assisting in the management of Operational Services marketing projects and initiatives for clients, partner units, and other offices, and providing market analysis support for UF Online. This role directly manages specific members of the marketing team, overseeing marketing strategies and automations from ideation to creation, implementation, and measurement, and when needed, actively contributes to this work. The role assists the Associate Director in supporting clients and addressing their needs, providing an exceptional level of customer service. This role also conducts market analysis and reporting for undergraduate online programs, collecting, analyzing, and presenting information in a clear, concise manner.
The essential functions of the position are as follows:
Supports Associate Director in overseeing marketing and communications staff and campaigns, including production of print, digital, and e-communications campaigns. Manages designated team members and projects, including assigning and monitoring tasks within the unit’s project management platform. Responds to client inquiries in a timely manner and supports client meetings as needed, including preparing and sending agendas for client review, preparing presentations, and taking and distributing notes as needed.
Creates, implements, and oversees communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products. Oversees, supports, and assists staff responsible for automated marketing programs, particularly email and Salesforce CRM, including drip campaigns, application deadline campaigns, and other outreach. Researches best practices and innovations in e-communications to continually refine and improve the unit’s automated marketing.
Prepares market analysis reports for academic units upon request utilizing databases and other resources to determine viability, competitive landscape, opportunities, and challenges to launching new programs and services. Effectively communicates with academic units to determine their needs, goals, and scope in order to prepare market analysis. Presents final analysis in polished, professional manner.

Full-time TEAMS employees will accrue vacation leave at a rate of 6.769 hours biweekly/22 days annually and sick leave at a rate of 4 hours biweekly/13 days annually. In addition, employees are eligible for ten paid holidays each year.
