As an intern on our Talent Development team at the UF Health Cancer Center (UFHCC), you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Talent Development division in our Office of Human Resources. You will participate in ongoing talent development projects and activities, and support the daily operations of the division. The ideal candidate will have an interest in learning more about talent development, training program management, and instructional design.
In your new role you will be responsible for the following:
- Day-to-day administration of functional Talent Development processes, ensuring smooth, efficient operations.
- Assisting with LMS administration in Canvas including grading, updating materials, and managing enrollments.
- Assisting with QA checks and credential compliance for clinical research staff and investigators.
- Participating in ongoing Talent Development projects including supporting instructional design, editing, and other related programmatic activities.
This is an intern-level position, ideal for candidates with an interest in exploring a career after graduation in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, and/or Human Resources with an emphasis on training and talent development in higher education, research, healthcare, or similar industries.

Strong desire to learn, seek out, and apply new knowledge, methods, and information.
- Strong oral and written communications skills, especially proof-reading and public speaking skills.

Ability to establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with others.

Ability to distinguish and properly manage confidential information and protected data, including sensitive documents, PII, etc.
- Exposure to and basic skills in using e-learning technologies (e.g. Canvas).

Success using the Microsoft Office suite.
