Job Description:

The University of Florida is inviting applications to work in OCM (Organizational Change Management) as the Communications Lead for Empowering UF, the University’s ERP implementation project that aims to build modern, intelligent, and unified business processes and systems that empower the UF community and support service and operational excellence.

Ideal skills for these roles include, but are not limited to, excellent verbal, written and editing skills, collaboration and teamwork, initiative and the ability to successfully manage others.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Strategizing and developing communication and awareness campaigns and supporting the implementation with targeted communications.
  • Producing print and digital publications including newsletters, news articles, marketing materials, and web communications.
  • Providing communications consulting and support for the project Workstream leads and executive leadership.

Expected Salary:

$80,000-90,000 or commensurate with experience

Minimum Requirements:

Masters degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelors degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate are of specialization and a minimum of four years of related field experience.

  • Experience managing multiple print and digital publication projects simultaneously for a variety of communications outlets and constituencies.

  • Strategic communications background supporting organizational executive.

  • Proven writing and editing experience, with demonstrated ability to produce publications, website, and other digital content for a variety of audiences.
Supervisory experience in a creative or public outreach environment
