| Job Description: |
-Maintain all vehicles and farm and shop equipment at a safe operating level. Required to drive state vehicles.
-Repair and maintain all engine powered equipment.
-Conduct inspections on all vehicles and equipment.
- Oversee fuel pump usage and do monthly fuel reconciliation.
- Purchase parts and supplies for completing tasks
-Upgrade tools and shop equipment.

| Minimum Requirements: |
A high school diploma (or equivalent) and zero (0) to two (2) years of experience in the field or in a related area or completion of an apprenticeship and/or formal training/certification program.
Appropriate vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
A valid Florida's driver's license.
|
| Preferred Qualifications: |
ASE certified for brakes, suspension, and steering.
Certified in operating a forklift.
Welding knowledge.
