Job Description:

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an entry-level IT Analyst I to join Applications, Development, and Integrations (ADI), a unit within UFIT.

This position is instrumental in the analysis, design, development, and support of enterprise content management solutions for 16 colleges and multiple administrative areas across campus and the state – potentially impacting 70,000+ customers daily. As an integral member of the UFIT Enterprise Content Management team, the incumbent must demonstrate a high-level of creativity, comprehension, analytical skills, and teamwork.

Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are:

  • Assist in the analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise content management solutions that utilize both basic and advanced capabilities of Hyland OnBase and DocuSign.  These solutions automate complex processes and manage important university content (documents, e-forms, cases, data, etc.)
  • Aid in providing prompt and courteous customer support for deployed solutions, including intake, triage, and resolution of support tickets
  • Assist with the development of technical documentation (designs, specifications, testing, processes, workflows, etc.)
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service

Benefits

Full-time TEAMS employees will accrue vacation leave at a rate of 6.769 hours biweekly/22 days annually and sick leave at 4 hours biweekly/13 days annually. In addition, employees are eligible for ten paid holidays each year.

Vacation-accruing TEAMS employees are eligible for four personal leave days/32 hours per year, assuming full-time status, and are intended to give the flexibility to enable units to close from December 26 to 31, when possible, determined on a unit-by-unit basis.

Expected Salary:

$52,500 – $55,500; commensurate based on education and experience. 

Minimum Requirements:

Associate’s degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following education, experience, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, such as computer science, information systems, computer engineering, or similar
  • 1+ year of experience in software development, electronic content management solution development (Hyland OnBase or similar), e-signature administration, IT-related customer support, and software systems documentation
  • Strong analytical and IT testing skills
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

This role will be based in one of our Gainesville offices and may include a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office (Wednesday required), and 2 days remote.
