Job Description: |
- Develop, implement, and lead and/or collaborate on various professional development efforts, including but not limited to asynchronous and synchronous resources for students, faculty, and staff, including courses, presentations, workshops, deliverables, supporting materials, and individual consultations. Work closely with other Graduate School and campus units to deliver materials, including presentations and resources, on a variety of professional development topics to students, faculty, and staff, including to specific populations (e.g. international students, BOE students, etc.); contribute to/lead as needed existing and future programs, including Preparing future faculty, leadership programs, Job Search Series, Core Curriculum, Workshop Series, and others.
- Develop, implement, and lead career advancement programs for graduate students to enter diverse career sectors. This will include, but is not limited to, developing experiential learning opportunities, cultivating industry partnerships and alumni engagement, and developing educational/training materials, including but not limited to programs, courses, workshops, and other resources as needed.
- Lead, coordinate, and implement the New TA Orientation (Fall and Spring), in collaboration with various campus units; administer the graduate student mentoring awards program; and advise student organizations on graduate student research day.
- Contribute to other Graduate School tasks as assigned.
