Job Description:

Strategic Partnership Development:

  • Leads initiatives to scout and engage potential corporate partners, analyzing market trends to identify opportunities.
  • Develops specific strategies for partnership, initiating contact with potential partners, and crafting proposals and presentations that align with the university's strategic goals.

Partnership Management and Execution:

  • Manage and provides oversight of partnerships once they are developed.
  • Maintains continuous communication with partners, coordinating with internal teams across the university and its DSOs to meet partnership deliverables.
  • Manages contractual obligations, and regularly evaluates the effectiveness of partnerships to determine their continuation or termination.

Workflow, Process, and Tools Development:

  • Builds workflows, processes, and tools for managing partnerships and business practices. 
  • Creates frameworks to streamline the identification, establishment, and governance of strategic partnerships.
  • Develops systems to manage the day-to-day operations and tracking of these relationships.

Internal Coordination and Integration:

  • Works to integrate partnership strategies seamlessly with the university’s broader operational strategies.
  • This role requires effective communication across various departments, ensuring all internal stakeholders understand and are committed to their roles in supporting these partnerships.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Keeps thorough records of all partnership activities, documenting strategic decisions, tracking performance metrics.
  • Prepares detailed reports for university leadership, ensuring accountability and transparency in all partnership activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. At least ten years of experience in partnership development, complex event management or business development, preferably within a large organizational or educational setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills needed to influence and engage diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively
  • Policy making and/or interpretation experience
  • Program direction and development experience desired
