Clinical Service Representative I - Neurological Surgery - New Patient Referrals

The Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a responsible, courteous, energetic candidate to join our team as a Clinical Service Representative I for the New Patient Referral Team. As our Clinical Service Representative I, your will responsibilities include: interaction with new patients via telephone, scheduling new patient appointments, obtaining all new patient information and generating medical record numbers.  This position may assist with verifying insurance and co-pay information.

The successful candidate will display impeccable phone etiquette at all times, have previous customer service experience, be detail oriented, and have a demonstrated ability to interact with both patients and physicians in a professional and empathetic manner.

$16.25 - $18.00 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience. 

High school diploma or equivalent.

• Customer service experience including phone etiquette
• EPIC experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Demonstration of strong organizational skills
