Reporting to the Thermal Distribution Superintendent, this position performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled duties in the inspection, maintenance and repair of steam/condensate and chilled water distribution piping/valves/steam traps, pumps, manholes, and facilities related for providing the production operations with quality services. Conduct maintenance services to support reliable and cost effective distribution of steam/condensate and chilled water operations. Employee monitors, inspects, repairs, and replaces equipment and systems as directed. Responsibilities include identifying problems, correcting deficiencies, and performing maintenance procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures. Position will also coordinate with other facility operation departments, outside contractors, and vendors to ensure assigned work is documented and scheduled appropriately. As required, due to maintenance time frames, the position may be assigned work tasks that includes night and weekend shifts, or the employee may be required to work after normal work hours due to failures of equipment ensuring safety of university, minimizing disruption to customers, and preventing further property or equipment damage.
Clinical Service Representative – OPS 29081100 - MD-PATH - UF PATH LABS Main Campus (Gainesville, FL)
This position is responsible for triaging, accessioning, and troubleshooting all incoming specimens received at UF Health Pathology Laboratories. Duties include: accessioning all types of Clinical Pathology specimens including but not limited to; blood, serum, saliva, sputum, viral transport media, culture swabs, etc. Assigning each specimen a number and label materials accordingly, collecting and placing test orders, verifying billing codes, adding and verifying medical insurance, maintaining files, verifying appropriate materials received for each test, routing samples to the correct testing department and coordinating specimens to be sent to outside laboratories. Other duties include testing coordination, preparing result reports and distributing the reports. In addition, this position is responsible for maintenance of the UF Health Pathology Laboratories' files, data, and paperwork as required by regulatory agencies and to support the research, education and clinical mission of the laboratory and department. This position would be to work during the evening shift, but may vary depending on the needs of the department. Occasional holiday and weekend coverage may be assigned

The Director of Advancement leads the planning and execution of a comprehensive philanthropy and external relations program for the George A. Smathers Libraries in coordination with the Dean of University Libraries. This position reports dually to the Dean of University Libraries and the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Development. The Director leads a team of development professionals that work collaboratively with library deans, chairs, and librarians, as well as colleagues outside of the Libraries to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward philanthropic support for the Smathers Libraries initiatives and strategic priorities.
