| Job Description: |
Student Assistant needed for the Map & Imagery Library at the University of Florida. Duties include, but are not limited to: filing maps and atlases, maintaining databases, organization projects, assisting library patrons, other tasks as needed.
Hours: 9 – 10 hrs/week
Map & Imagery Library hours during Summer semester:
Monday -Thursday 8 am – 6 pm; Friday 8 am – 5 pm

| Expected Salary: |
$13.50/hour
|
| Minimum Requirements: |
- Once trained, will be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Must be punctual, reliable, detail oriented, and work well with others.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc…).
- Must have Federal Work Study award for Summer 2025.

| Preferred Qualifications: |
- Able to include evening hours (5-6 pm) in your work schedule.
- Able to lift 25 lbs.
- Knowledge of world geography.
- Previous library experience.
