Job Description:

The University of Florida is seeking a motivated individual to join our Recruitment & Outreach team as an Admissions Officer I for UF Online Enrollment Services. This position plays a vital role in recruiting and enrolling prospective students for UF Online programs. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and committed to facilitating a smooth and positive enrollment experience.

Key responsibilities include:

Student Outreach

  • Conduct outreach to prospective UF Online students through phone calls (inbound/outbound call center), emails, text, and other communication channels.
  • Effectively oversee the prospective student pipeline to optimize enrollment outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with university-wide policies, legislative statutes, and state regulations related to enrollment issues.
  • Record all student communication in the CRM system for documentation and analysis.

Recruitment and Engagement

  • Travel to and actively participate in recruitment events, including transfer and college fairs. This involves the operation of a state vehicle.
  • Deliver in-person presentations and engage with prospective students and engage with prospective students, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Host virtual information sessions to provide detailed information to prospective students, parents/legal guardians, guidance counselors, and college academic advisors.
  • Engage with special populations and constituents to enhance student recruitment and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with campus partners to offer accurate and current information about UF Online's academic programs.

Other duties

  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of enrollment services.

This position is located at the University of Florida's main campus in Gainesville, FL and may be eligible for a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in accordance with the University of Florida and Division of Enrollment Management's policies.

Expected Salary:

$43,888 annually

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid driver's license is required.

  • Strong customer services skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Familiarity and skill managing email and using a CRM
  • Ability to exercise good judgement
  • Bilingual
