Veterinary Technician I/II (CARE)

 Are you a skilled veterinary technician who loves both learning and sharing your knowledge and is ready to join a busy team seeing cats and dogs with a wide variety of issues requiring soft tissue surgical intervention? We are looking for our next team members in Small Animal Surgery and currently are recruiting for Soft Tissue Surgery positions! Nursing staff in our service assist with appointments, small procedures under sedation and anesthesia in both sterile and aseptic conditions, diagnostic workups including digital radiography and CT, and a host of other surgical nursing skills in addition to client communication. Members of our team work closely with boarded veterinary surgeons, residents/interns, and veterinary students in a fast paced teaching and learning environment. An individual in this position must posses excellent communication skills and be proactive in determining the needs of the hospital. A successful applicant should enjoy learning new things and can adapt quickly to a changing environment. They should have a good base knowledge of veterinary medicine and express a positive attitude in their daily work. The individual must be able to communicate effectively, demonstrating critical, demonstrating critical thinking and professionalism.

Veterinary Technician I (non credentialed): $18.00 - $22.00 / hourly

Veterinary Technician II (credentialed): $20.00 -$25.00 / hourly
