The University of Florida, Department of Chemistry, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, broadly defined, beginning August 16, 2024. Successful candidates are expected to conduct innovative research at the highest level and to establish an outstanding, independent, externally funded research program. We seek candidates with a record of excellence in research and scholarship and an ability to excel in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemistry or a closely related field; postdoctoral experience is desirable.
