Job Description:

The Department of Psychology at the University of Florida (UF) seeks applications for one Assistant Professor position and one Assistant/Associate Professor position in counseling psychology. The positions will begin August 16, 2024 and are full-time, nine-month, tenure-accruing positions. For candidates coming in at the associate level, there will be an expectation of assuming the role of Training Director one year after joining the faculty.

Area of scholarly emphasis is open to any area of focus within counseling psychology. Applicants will be expected to maintain an outstanding program of research with high potential for external funding, teach psychology graduate and undergraduate courses, advise students, and provide service to the institution.

Expected Salary:

The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, and the compensation includes a full benefits package.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants should have earned a doctorate degree in counseling psychology or a closely related field by the start date of the position -- August 16, 2024.
