Job Description:

Recruitment and Outreach Responsibilities:

  • Engage in participant recruitment efforts to find and refer couples and/or individuals to SMART programs
  • Share SMART program information with community agencies/partners to obtain client referrals and to develop recruitment/referral protocols
  • Meet with community agencies/partners to familiarize yourself with their services and to see if they would like to host a SMART class/workshop at their location
  • Attend community networking meetings and community events/resource fairs to market SMART programs and to obtain participant referrals and leads 
  • Present SMART program information to community agencies/partners
  • Distribute program flyers, posters, brochures, and bookmarks to community agencies/partners at their location
  • Report recruitment and marketing efforts to the SMART Couples Director and Project Coordinator in Gainesville, FL on a weekly basis, or more frequently if needed

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Download program participant registration forms
  • Enter participant registration, attendance, services, resource referrals, and gift cards in the program federal database  
  • Prep and organize program materials and documents for classes
  • Create and/or update community agency/partner contact lists as well as other distribution and media lists
  • Create and/or maintain a community resource list
  • Track and maintain program inventory (supplies, workbooks, publications, marketing materials, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned
Advertised Salary:

$13.00 hourly 

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Able to work a 20 hour a week daytime schedule with occasional nighttime or Saturday hours to assist with program surveys and/or tabling at community events     
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Able to pass fingerprinting/background checks
• Able to follow strict guidelines and protocols
• Well organized and sets goals to accomplish tasks
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Suites – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).   
• High school diploma
• Fluent in English
