Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Rheumatology at the University of Florida. The Department of Medicine invites qualified applicants to apply for a full-time, non-tenured appointment in Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology.
These faculty positions will be based at the UF Health Shands Teaching Hospital. Applicants must be board-certified or board eligible in Rheumatology and eligible for a Florida Medical License. Responsibilities will include patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings as well as supervision/teaching of Rheumatology Fellows, residents, and medical students. Along with general Rheumatology clinics, successful applicants will be expected to participate in a weekly half-day multidisciplinary clinic specializing in either muscle disease or vasculitis.
In addition, successful applicants will be expected to collaborate with a basic scientist in the capacity of "clinical mentor" for one or more research trainees in our NIH-funded T32 training program. An interest in translational research is highly desirable. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
