| The Veterinary Hospital Supervisor will be an integral member of the team, working with their manager and doctors to provide high quality nursing care and develop the nursing team with the service(s). This role works closely with their manager in a collaborative relationship. Primary job duties include leading and mentoring the daily operations of nursing staff as well as development of the skill and knowledge base of the team. This position acts as a working supervisor, providing oversight while working alongside their team. They will actively participate in the screening and selection of new team members and provide onboarding and training for the staff alongside their manager. They will also provide regular feedback to the nursing staff through performance evaluations and mentoring.
Candidates must possess a strong knowledge of veterinary nursing care and techniques.
