Job Description: |
The Beyond120 program in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is seeking a Federal Work-Study Digital Content Creator Student Assistant to support dynamic student-centered outreach and storytelling efforts.
As a Communications Assistant, you will work with the Beyond120 team to elevate the visibility of our experiential learning programs through engaging, on-brand content that connects with undergraduate students, alumni and partners. You’ll contribute to the development of social media, digital communications, student and alumni features, and other creative content that highlights the impact of a liberal arts education.
You will collaborate with faculty, students and the Beyond120 Communications Manager to bring our initiatives to life across a range of platforms—supporting recruitment, alumni engagement and program awareness.
Key responsibilities include: • Draft and edit compelling content for social media, newsletters, student profiles, alumni features and event promotions • Assist in designing digital and print materials that align with Beyond120 branding and messaging • Support content planning and scheduling for social media platforms • Conduct student or alumni interviews and help turn their stories into impactful narratives • Maintain organized records of communications assets, editorial calendars and partner stories • Provide project updates through shared tools to help meet deadlines and outreach goals • Ensure all communications are consistent with UF and CLAS brand guidelines and storytelling standards This position is ideal for a student interested in writing, design, marketing, communications or public engagement, especially within the context of higher education or nonprofit work.

Required Qualifications: |

Preferred: |
- Detail-oriented person with thorough knowledge of English grammar and usage
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- A significant understanding and familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, with a particular focus on Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, and Canva.
