The Opportunity

The Brechner Center at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications is seeking graduate student applicants for a part-time Student Assistant position focused on web development and data tracking.

Expected Salary:

$20/hour

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, or a related field or equivalent work experience. Candidates must be eligible to work on campus and will be employed through Student Other Personnel Services (OPS). A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. Students may work up to 20 hours per week.

Preferred:
  • Experience in web development with a focus on tracking and analytics
  • Familiarity with server-side programming and core application development practices
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, and related web technologies for developing, testing, and maintaining web applications
