Job Description:

The Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at the University of Florida, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure-accruing position at the rank of Lecturer, beginning August 16, 2025.

Applicants must possess native or near-native proficiency in Korean and English and US college/university-level teaching experience are required.

The successful applicant will contribute to the development and teaching of Korean language and culture courses in English translation in face-to-face or online formats, depending upon student demand; provide extracurricular support of the program through service that includes placement testing, weekly language tables, and other activities relating to extracurricular Korean language use; develop the Korean curriculum at the University of Florida. The typical teaching assignment for a lecturer is three courses per semester.

Expected Salary:

The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a full benefits package.
