Job Description:

Responsible for the leadership of all the clinical and business staff.  This includes the administration of HR policies, training and development of staff, adherence to payroll rules and guidelines, establishing appropriate staff scheduling and responsibilities, performance development.

Responsible for the management of the operation of the front office, patient customer service, scheduling, patient billing, collections, treatment plan review.  Responsible for ensuring that appropriate supply levels for operations and patient care are maintained at all times.

Responsible for the management of the dental assistants, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, appropriate resources, task assignments, and processes are followed to ensure that patient care proceeds in an efficient and effective manner. 

Responsible for operating the clinical and business operations within the budgetary guidelines: monitoring daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual metrics and adjusting operations and processes in order to meet targets.

Responsible to assist in marketing efforts, projects, and other miscellaneous tasks on an as needed basis.

Expected Salary:

$61,000 - $65,000/yr, commensurate with education/experience

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Business Administration and 2 years experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience
- Thorough knowledge of business operations, team leadership, financial and operational statements, performance management and development
- Knowledge and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel and Access
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills (required)
- Proven ability in critical thinking, problem solving, and process evaluation and improvement
- Ability to understand goals and expectations
- Ability to formulate daily and long term strategies and plans to accomplish and provide leadership and direction to staff
- Ability to understand and apply rules, priorities, principles, policies and procedures to daily and overall work schedule
