The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville, is seeking a full time Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist at the non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. Successful candidates must possess a M.D. or D.O. degree, be certified by the American Board of Pathology in AP/CP and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Candidates with surgical pathology fellowship or equivalent experience, as well as an interest in Transfusion Medicine are considered an asset. Major responsibilities include sign out of general surgical pathology and perform frozen sections. Other activities include on call duties, clinical teaching to trainees in pathology and participation in departmental educational programs. Candidates should possess excellent teaching skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills. and have a strong interest and commitment to teaching. Candidates will also be expected to establish an active, clinically-oriented research program.
