The Research Administrator III position in the College of Medicine Jacksonville PEDSID will primarily provide administrative and research support for faculty and staff for all Pediatric Infectious Diseases NIH, FLDOH, Pharma grants and contracts. This is a highly responsible position that requires independent judgement and decision making to develop, coordinate, and ensure comprehensive and coordination of the sponsored programs federally funded financial budgets Pre and Post Award Research Administration functions. Functions for research include Contractual, Compliance including Risk Management, Budget preparation including Multi-year with F&A rate understanding and Cost Sharing commitments, Complex Clinical Trial agreements, Research Invoicing, and Financial management for Federal Grants, Contracts, and Industry trials for UFCARES programs. Independently handles all award-related transactions, including processing of all awards. Works closely with the Finance Manager, Research Director and P.I. to coordinate budgets, fee structures, and invoicing. Compiles and generates various billing logs and financial projections monthly. Develops and implements administrative procedures to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Works closely with the Finance Manager to coordinate and improve applicable SOP processes for Pre and Post Award functions of UF Cares programs.
