OPS Lab Technician (Full-time 40 hours/week)

We are looking for someone to join our team as a field technician to work with avocado plants. The position involves field work with avocado trees, travel to multiple locations around Florida, collection of data for experimental trials, and collection of samples. This position is a full time OPS position and will require work outside in all types of weather conditions.

Requirements:  

• Valid Drivers license
• Available to work full time with occasional early starts 5:00-6:00am
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
• Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs regularly
• Physical movement to include kneeling, squatting, bending, lifting and standing
• Ability to occasionally travel on overnight trips to research plots around Florida

15.00 per hour - 40 hours per week
