Laboratory Technician I

Assist with Compound Management in the procurement, formatting, and datalogging of small chemical libraries. Maintain an inventory of laboratory supplies. Order laboratory supplies. Prepare compound solutions in microplates or micro-vials to support ongoing high throughput screening. Routine work with computer-controlled automation, workstations, robotics, and freezer inventories. Maintain database entries and electronic records.
• Follow all safety procedures, including wearing PPE.
• Work as a member of a team and having good/timely communication skills.
• Other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Commensurate with experience.

Associate’s degree in an appropriate area; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of related experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Associate degree in the sciences with laboratory work experience (1+ years of laboratory work); or bachelor’s degree in the sciences.
