Job Description:

The Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Florida College of Medicine is seeking an academic scholar to fill a full-time, tenure or non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. Responsibilities will include teaching and research. Teaching responsibilities include contribution to in-class and online team-taught gross anatomy and histology courses to medical, dental, physician assistant and graduate students. Research responsibilities include research in educational methods, teaching efficacy and curriculum development.

 

Expected Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience

Minimum Requirements:

Requirements include a PhD and/or MD in anatomy, cell biology and/or a related biomedical field. Prior college teaching experience and evidence of excellence in teaching is desirable, and dedication to teaching is essential. Preference is given to candidates who have taught gross anatomy at the pre-clinical level in a medical school.
