The position monitors the system controls and evaluates trend performance of plant equipment against an established level of service. The Operator investigates and assists with troubleshooting the thermal plants’ conditions and controls and coordinates with mechanics for equipment shutdowns. Operators help enforce Standard Operating Procedures and maintain a safe working environment as Lockout/Tagout Issuing Agent. The thermal plants are monitored 24-hours per day. Shift work is required.
