This position is a member of the application team providing primary support for UF Health colleges, including the College of Dentistry and the College of Veterinary Medicine. The primary responsibilities of this entry-level position include supporting the Applications Team by planning, organizing, upgrading, and integrating related systems. This role serves as a liaison between staff, faculty, vendors, and other stakeholders as needed.
Under the direction of the UF Health Information Technology Manager, the incumbent will complete assigned tasks with guidance and training. They will collaborate with internal and external organizations within UF Health IT to leverage ideas, resources, and delivering solutions that align with institutional goals and customer needs. Additionally, this position will serve as a backup for other team members.
IT Analyst 1 is required to utilize UF Health’s established software applications for project management, service request management and change management. Projects, service requests and change management requests are to be updated and maintained in a complete and timely manner.
The candidate will be required to participate in the after hours and weekend on-call rotation within 6 months of the start date within this position.
