Job Description:

A postdoctoral researcher position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Sarah Kim (https://pharmacy.ufl.edu/profile/kim-sarah/) to apply modeling and simulation approaches for optimizing clinical trial designs in rare diseases. The postdoctoral researcher will engage in multiple projects aimed at developing data-driven disease-drug-trial models and a graphical user interface for model-based clinical trial simulation tools.

This is a two-year initial appointment with the potential for renewal for an additional year, contingent upon performance and available funding.

This position is in-person and is not eligible for remote work.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, mathematics, statistics, computer engineering, biomedical engineering, neuroscience, or a related biomedical/computational science field, with relevant experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Applicants should have experience in manuscript preparation and submission.
  • Experience with Monolix Suite and R Shiny is highly desirable.
