Job Description:

Strategic Leadership:

Serves on the management/leadership team with the Director to help with all essential UFLI administrative operations, including contracts, facilities, and event management. Assists the Director in developing and implementing operational goals and objectives that align with the overall UFLI strategic plan.  Participates in formulating and implementing policies and procedures. Supervises the day-to-day operations and has Center-level approval.

Supervision & Facility:

Supervises the Center’s daily operations, including facilities, and coordinates the HR activities of the Center from hiring searches and onboarding to supporting professional development and tracking employee retention and satisfaction.  Responsible for ensuring the Center’s activities comply with University, State, and Federal regulations and for supporting an inclusive working environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. 

Organize and Coordinate Center Operations & Event Management:

This individual will work with other UFLI Personnel to coordinate travel, meetings, and presentations as directed by the Director; Coordinate, manage & support the logistics and production of multiple implementation specialists: Manages contract processes with schools, districts, and other outside organizations and consultants.  This will involve developing an extensive calendar or database where all professional development is logged and categorized by date and implementation specialists.  May also have to prepare agenda and/or other related materials for various meetings.

Communication and Dissemination:

Develop comprehensive communication strategies in collaboration with college, university, and Center Director to effectively disseminate finds from Center initiatives to foster collaborations with local, regional, state, national and international partners.  Utilize various mediums such as publications, presentations, and digital platforms to amplify the impact and visibility of outcomes for internal and external stakeholders and perform other related duties as assigned.

Provides administrative support to the UFLI Director:

This may include calendars, communications, and activities with UFLI staff, as well as with external constituents and partners.  Must be able to identify, evaluate, support, and solve complex issues as related to the Center.

Expected Salary:

Salary is competitive and commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams; must be very detail oriented; able to work independently and with a team; able to work with existing and new technology and manage databases; ability to project a positive impression in in-person and virtual settings; deals with different levels of administration; have outstanding telephone manners; proficient in responding to emails accordingly.
