University Registrar Services Assistant II
This position assists with managing the daily functions of Operations Support Services for the Division of Enrollment Management. Primary responsibilities include resolving issues related to facility management, information technology, document processing, courier requests, travel, stock, and asset management.
Assists with managing the daily functions of Operations Support Services for the Division of Enrollment Management. Monitors all support service requests ensuring that issues are resolved in a timely manner. Resolves issues related to facility management, information technology, document processing, courier requests, travel, stock, and asset management. Provides training and supervision to student employees assigned to the area.
Provides technical support for computer hardware and office equipment. Assists with meeting setups to include operation of audio visual equipment and monitoring of live streaming and recording of conference and webinar events. Coordinates the checkout, tracking, and user setup of office equipment.
Assists with the receipt and distribution of computer hardware, office supplies and publications. Assists with tracking the inventory of equipment and supplies to ensure the continuation of all divisional services.
Assists with managing physical operations in the division. Serves as liaison with Facilities Services for facility management issues. Relocates staff and equipment during renovations and special events.
Cross-trained in all areas of the office to assist during peak workload periods. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Continually reviews internal procedure, systems and record keeping methods with intent to streamline and improve. Assist with research by providing information for the completion of reports, projects and correspondence.
$14.20 hourly; commensurate with education and experience.
High school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
- Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional and effective working relations with others.
- Ability to establish work priorities and coordinate the timely completion of work assignments; strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of effective written and oral communication; ability to articulate and interpret information.
- Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to learn new software.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret university and enrollment management policies, procedures, and academic regulations.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
