Preparing equipment, studio space, on-location space for filming, editing instructional and educational media (for example lecture, on-location educational media) and stories and projects (including web, e-newsletter, and social media) used in strategic messages to enhance communications for various internal and external audiences; brainstorming and creating engaging digital content to advance the brand, message, and reputation of the college, academic programs, alumni, students, and faculty; and supporting the studio and on-location videography process. A core component of this position is regular collaboration and project tracking across teams with the instructional design, editorial, marketing, and communication team members. |

FEDERAL WORK STUDY STUDENT ASSISTANT
to assist with activities for the Gator-2-Gator (G2G) peer support program within the Counseling & Wellness Center. Gator-2-Gator is a peer support program where students, faculty, and staff are trained to support peers experiencing distress. Gator 2 Gator provides 30-minute consultations for personal support and/or referral information about helpful resources. The Gator-2-Gator Program Student Assistant is responsible for assisting with scheduling, registering, and coordinating G2G trainings; as well as managing G2G consultation sessions scheduled within the center.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Assist with CWC’s Gator-2-Gator Program with duties including, but not limited to:
o Assisting with scheduling and coordinating Gator-2-Gator program trainings
o Updating weekly Gator-2-Gator consultation sessions for CWC website/social media posting
o Distributing Gator-2-Gator program information via press releases to various local news outlets
o Maintaining Gator-2-Gator program communications (i.e. email listserv), database of active Gator-2-Gator Ambassadors, database of central UF stakeholders (e.g. academic departments, student organizations, etc.) for distribution of Gator-2-Gator training and consultation appointment communications.
o Perform clerical duties including data entry, copying, faxing, receiving/distributing mail and other materials, running errands, keeping office area clean, maintaining calendars, and responding to inquiries from staff.
o Attending weekly 1-hour meeting with CWC outreach department for review of Gator-2-Gator assignments/projects
o Other similar duties as directed by supervisor.
