He/she splices and terminates primary and secondary cables. The incumbent installs and pulls slack out of primary and secondary wires. He/she assists in building transformer banks and transformer platforms. The incumbent connects, disconnects, and replaces service loops. He/she inspects and locates trouble in transformers and electrical disturbance apparatus and replaces fuses and other defective parts. The incumbent places cross arms and strings wires.
