This Leesburg, FL based Lab Assistant will provide daily support for the Central Florida 3rd Street Laboratory and the Central Florida pathologists. They will be responsible for managing incoming/outgoing telephone calls and histology slide and block management. They will help with reports and addendums and distribute them to clients and pathologists. They will be involved with inventory management for the labs.
They serve as a backup for Client Services and the laboratory, assisting with answering incoming phone calls, access laboratory database and communicate with clients regarding case status, specimen handling requirements, fees, insurance, and other information.
There are several responsibilities in this job title. Employees will be expected to rotate through these tasks to obtain cross-training and mastery of each, over the course of the first 6 months on the job. |
