UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking a professional-level Advanced Systems Administrator to join Infrastructure & Communication Technology (ICT), a unit within UFIT. Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other employees dedicated and focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Florida’s innovative and inspirational community. UF Information Technology (UFIT) has an opening for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team administering Microsoft 365 (including Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams), Azure AD, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Intune, Dropbox, Google Workspace for Education, and Listserv, in a fast-paced, customer-focused production support and development environment. These environments run in a LEED certified data center housing several thousand servers and petabytes of storage. A competitive candidate will demonstrate technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new technologies, assess and provide technical solutions, be organized, have good communication, and the ability to adapt to a changing work environment to meet the needs of the UF community. As part of Infrastructure & Communication Technology (ICT), you will lead medium to large-sized projects and direct teams responsible for maintenance, installation, configuration, and deployment of advanced hardware and software systems.
