The Agricultural Assistant I position is in the Citrus and other subtropical fruit breeding laboratory at the Citrus Research and Education Center in Lake Alfred, FL. The person in this position will be tasked with the establishment, evaluation, and management of greenhouse and field trials as needed to support the needs of the laboratory. The duties of this position include tree planting and care (fertilizers and pesticides as needed), basic information collection, maintenance and installation of irrigation systems, and assistance of other team members with their field experiments.
