The technician collaborates with faculty, residents, and the imaging team to produce optimal imaging results while maintaining patient safety and adhering to radiation safety protocols. While the majority of time is spent in the Cath lab, the technician will also assist in other diagnostic imaging modalities, such as CT and ultrasound, and participate in the on-call rotation for imaging services.
Success in this role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and effective communication with multiple hospital services.
