UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking a talented and highly motivated, part-time Cybersecurity Detection & Response Intern to join the Information Security Office, a unit within UFIT for the fall semester. This semester-long, paid internship is designed to provide students currently enrolled in college an opportunity to learn practical skill and gain experience to propel you into a successful career in Information Technology. As a part of the Information Security team, UF’s Cybersecurity Detection & Response (CDR) team supports the University team by assisting staff in one or more of these areas, threat management, vulnerability management, incident management, or the processing of eDiscovery, litigation, and investigative support service requests. The CDR team is located in the Ayers building at 720 SW 2nd Ave. This internship opportunity requires the intern to be present on-site.

This semester-long, paid internship is designed to provide students currently enrolled in college an opportunity to learn practical skills and gain experience to propel them into a successful career in Information Technology. This is an in-person internship that will be taking place at the Ayers Building – 720 SW 2nd Ave. The intern will support the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and Information Assurance teams, assisting with evaluating and following up on open risk assessments projects, categorizations, and remediation plans.
